You will receive a white jar containing high-purity sulphur pellets suitable for both greenhouse fumigation and soil application.

In greenhouses, burning sulphur pellets in an approved sulphur burner releases sulphur dioxide gas, which creates an acidic environment that helps prevent the spread of fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, botrytis, and various blights. This reduces the need for chemical fungicides and helps maintain a healthier growing environment.

These same pellets can also be applied directly to soil as a slow-release amendment to correct sulphur deficiencies and gradually lower soil pH—especially useful in Calgary’s alkaline soils.
