Doktor Doom Formula 420 3-in-1 Crop & Plant Rescue Concentrate is a canola-oil-based insecticide, miticide and fungicide for use on a wide range of labelled houseplants, flowers, vegetables, fruits, shrubs and trees.
It can be used during the growing season as well as for certain dormant-season applications. The spray works by contacting listed insects and mites, including eggs, and also suppresses powdery mildew on labelled plants.

Because this is a contact treatment, insects, mites and their eggs must be thoroughly contacted with the spray.
Mixing Directions
Mix 20 mL of concentrate per 1 L of water.
This produces the labelled 2% spray solution.
Shake the concentrate well before each use. Stir or shake the diluted solution frequently during application.
Apply approximately 100–200 mL of finished spray per m² with a hand-held trigger sprayer, hand sprayer or backpack sprayer.
How to Apply for Insect & Mite Control
Apply at the first sign of insect activity. Thoroughly wet affected plant surfaces, including the undersides of leaves and the insects themselves.
The product may also be used for certain labelled dormant-season applications against overwintering stages, including eggs, of pests such as scale insects, mites and mealybugs on listed shrubs, evergreens, woody plants, fruit trees and shade trees.
Where indicated on the label, treatments may be repeated every 7–14 days as needed.
Powdery Mildew Suppression
For powdery mildew suppression, thoroughly cover both the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves.
Repeat every 7–14 days as needed. A 7-day interval is recommended when disease pressure is moderate to high.
For preventative treatment and protection of new growth, applications may be made pre-bloom and during early leaf development where permitted by the crop-specific directions.

Important Crop-Specific Precautions
- Peaches: Use only one dormant application per season.
- Certain varieties of plums and prunes may be injured by oil sprays. Do not apply to oil-sensitive varieties.
- Do not apply to trees that are lacking moisture.
- Grapes: Oil removes the natural bloom from grapes. Do not spray table grapes within 2 weeks of harvest.
- Strawberries: Do not use when temperatures are high.
- Hops: Discontinue spraying at burr development.
Use Precautions
Not every plant species or variety has been tested for sensitivity. Test the spray on a small group of plants or a small portion of the plant and observe for several days before treating a larger area.
Oil sprays may remove the glaucous blue coating from evergreens such as Colorado blue spruce and Koster spruce.
Use caution on blooms, buds and oil-sensitive plants, including:
- Chamaecyparis
- Cryptomeria
- Japanese Holly
- Red Cedar
- Smoke Tree
DO NOT APPLY WHEN THE TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE 32°C OR JUST PRIOR TO OR DURING FREEZING WEATHER.
Plants should be free from moisture caused by melting frost or heavy dew before spraying.
Do not use within 30 days before or after using sulphur.
Do not combine with or apply closely following treatments containing dinitro compounds, Captan, Folpet or copper compounds, as plant injury may increase.
If compatibility or plant sensitivity is uncertain, treat a small area first and wait several days to check for injury.
Roses, apple trees and strawberries can be sensitive to repeated applications of oil products. Use caution with repeated sprays and test a small area if sensitivity is a concern.
Environmental Precautions
Toxic to aquatic organisms.
This product is not registered for pest control in aquatic systems. Do not use it to control aquatic pests and do not apply it to any body of water.
Safety
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
May irritate the skin. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
First Aid
If in eyes: Hold the eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15–20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes and continue rinsing. Contact a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice.
If on skin or clothing: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse the skin immediately with plenty of water for 15–20 minutes. Contact a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice.
If inhaled: Move the person to fresh air. If the person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance and provide artificial respiration if possible. Contact a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice.
If swallowed: Contact a poison control centre or doctor immediately. If able to swallow, have the person sip a glass of water. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Take the container, product label, product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.

Storage
Store away from food and feed to prevent contamination.
Disposal
Do not reuse the empty container. Dispose of the empty container with household garbage. Unused or partially used product should be taken to a provincially or municipally designated hazardous-waste disposal facility.
Notice to User
This pest control product must be used only according to its label directions. It is an offence under the Pest Control Products Act to use this product in a manner inconsistent with those directions.
