Easy-to-use liquid gel designed to help gardeners propagate new plants from stem and leaf cuttings with greater success and consistency.
This specialized liquid formulation encourages rapid root initiation on both softwood and hardwood cuttings by delivering rooting hormones directly to the freshly cut plant tissue. The gel consistency allows the product to adhere well to the cutting surface, ensuring good contact with the plant while minimizing runoff or dilution. In addition to rooting hormones, the formula contains a protective fungicide that helps guard vulnerable cuttings against soil-borne diseases such as Pythium, which commonly attack fresh cuttings during the early stages of propagation.
To use, dip the freshly cut end of the plant cutting approximately 15 mm (½ inch) into the gel, ensuring the lower node or cut surface is well coated. Immediately place the treated cutting into a suitable, pre-moistened rooting medium such as peat moss, vermiculite, perlite, or a seed-starting mix. Maintain consistent moisture and moderate humidity while the cutting develops roots.
