Canna Coco Blocks
This brick makes life easier in many ways: it is easy to use and it saves the grower time, money and effort. If you want to know the 'hole' difference, click on the characteristics below.
This CANNA COCO brick is the exact same high quality as the much desired loose fill CANNA COCO. This means it is made from the highest quality ingredients. It is washed and buffered, not steam sterilized and RHP certified for horticulture. The buffering process allows CANNA to “pre-program” the medium to a certain age. This ensures the same consistent, high-quality medium time after time. The composition of coco components blended together offers the best water-air ratio.
All of this ensures CANNA COCO meets the 4 benchmarks for a quality coco medium;
- Physical structure
- Chemical stability
- Free of weed seeds
CANNA COCO medium matches perfectly with CANNA COCO nutrients. Due to the special characteristics of coco and the applied washing and buffering process, it is possible for CANNA to combine vegetative and flowering nutrients in one nutrient mix. This means the nutrient can be used throughout the growing cycle and there is no need to worry about the proper time to convert from grow- to bloom nutrients.
Directions for use:
This substrate combines the tolerant, organic nature of soil with the precision of rock wool. Due to the special characteristics of the substrate the coco nutrient doesn’t have a Vega and Flores version, but there is one unique formulation for both growth and blooming phase. We can’t make things easier!

The specially designed hole causes the brick to expand faster than you have ever seen before. The packaging of each separate brick is, in fact, a bag in which the brick is designed to be soaked or wetted. On top of that, the bag has grip handles which makes it very easy to carry the prepared coco to your pots, bags, beds or wherever you want it to go. One Coco Brick makes 20 liters of coco. The fracture line makes it very easy to break the brick in two equal parts of 10 liters if smaller portions are desired. Due to the compact nature of the brick, it is very easy to store and transport. And the Coco is also suitable for re-use.
Open the bag. (Tip: the fracture line makes it easy to break the brick if you wish to make 10 liters of coco instead of 20 liters)
- Add clean water (also pour through the holes) in steps of 0.5 to 1 liter until the coco is totally expanded. (Tip: use lukewarm to warm water to increase the speed of expansion)
- If needed, loosen the coco a bit with your hands into a uniform product.
