When did the South location close?
Our South location closed at the end of August 2024. We’ve since consolidated into one Calgary store so we can focus on better inventory, stronger product selection, and a smoother experience.
Why did the South location close?
Over time, it made more sense for us to operate from a single location. Consolidating has allowed us to improve inventory, product availability, and overall consistency.
Why did you rearrange the store in 2022?
We optimized the space! Now we have the same square footage, but it feels way bigger.
We’ve grouped similar products together, made it easier to compare options, and improved overall flow so you can find what you need faster. If you’re looking for something specific, just ask.
Orders & Shipping
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes, we ship nationwide. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on real-time carrier pricing—size, weight, and destination all factor in.
Do you ship everything listed online?
Not everything is available for shipping. Some items—especially plants and more delicate products—are in-store only to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition.
Why can’t you ship certain items?
Some products don’t travel well, so we keep them in-store only.
This typically includes:
- Fragile items that could be damaged in transit
- Oversized or awkward products that are very expensive to ship
- Items that don’t handle temperature swings well
We’d rather make sure you receive something in good condition than risk it being damaged during shipping.
Why is shipping sometimes expensive?
Hydroponics products are often bulky. A bag of soil or a large light isn’t just heavy—it also takes up space, and carriers price based on both.
If something looks unusually high, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to double-check it.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes—local pickup is available and is usually the best option for larger or fragile items. You’ll receive a notification when your order is ready.
Can I preorder something?
Yes—please contact us and we’ll let you know what’s possible. Preorders require payment upfront, and timelines can vary depending on supplier availability.
Products & Availability
Why is your inventory sometimes inaccurate online?
Our inventory is not live-tracked online, so availability can change throughout the day as items are sold in-store or adjusted.
If something becomes unavailable after you place an order, we’ll always reach out with options.
Why are some products out of stock?
Likely because it sold recently. It might be on order. If it is sold out for a while, that makes sense too. Hydroponics supply in Canada can be inconsistent, and some products sell out quickly. In many cases, it means our distributor is temporarily out as well.
If you’re looking for something specific, feel free to email sales@incredigrow.ca and we’ll check on it for you.
Why is it sometimes hard to order certain products?
Some items are only available in large case quantities, arrive sporadically, or are shared across a limited number of Canadian distributors. A LOT of things are US only.
If you’re trying to track something down, we’re always happy to help or suggest a reliable alternative.
Why don’t you carry certain brands of nutrients?
We focus on brands that:
- Are approved for sale in Canada
- Have reliable supply
- Perform consistently for our customers
Some brands simply aren’t available here or can’t be stocked consistently, so we prioritize products we can stand behind long-term.
Why are some bulbs or nutrients in generic bottles?
From time to time, certain products may be packaged in plain or generic bottles due to heavy demand. This allows us or our suppliers (like Sunblaster or West Coast Seeds historically) to continue supplying products when original packaging is unavailable or delayed, while still providing the same product inside.
Can you pour a larger bottle into smaller bottles for me?
In many cases, yes. We're usually happy to help. The smallest bottles we can usually do is 1L. We just ask for a bit of notice so we can prepare it properly. There may be an additional charge for the bottles, and we reserve the right to request prepayment.
Do your soils and coco contain nutrients?
Most of our base media, like coco, peat mixes, and Pro-Mix HP, are intentionally unfertilized. This gives you full control over your feeding program. We do also have fertilized peat mixes
What’s the difference between HP and HP CC mixes?
- HP (High Porosity): Peat-based with excellent drainage and airflow
- HP CC: Similar structure, but blended with coco coir for better rewetting and a more forgiving moisture balance
If you’ve had peat dry out too hard before, the CC blend is often easier to work with.
Do you sell seeds?
Yes—we carry leafy greens, fruits, and flower seeds from West Coast Seeds, suitable for indoor and outdoor gardening.
Growing Help
Do I need Cal-Mag in Calgary?
Often, yes—especially in coco. Calgary water is considered hard, but it doesn’t always provide calcium and magnesium in the ratios plants prefer.
Can I grow indoors year-round in Calgary?
Yes. With proper lighting and environment control, you can grow year-round regardless of outdoor conditions.
Do you offer help or advice?
Yes—bring photos! We’re always happy to help troubleshoot and point you in the right direction.
Returns & Support
What if there’s an issue with my order?
If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll work with you to resolve it.
Can I return items?
Returns are handled case-by-case. Reach out with details and we’ll do our best to help.
Do synthetic nutrients expire?
This depends heavily on the formulation, but in most cases the answer is "no" or "not for years." If your nutrients aren't separated and smell the same as they always have, there is a good chance they are still good.
