Inkbird - IBS-M1 Gen 1 Grey Logo

The Inkbird IBS-M1 Grey Logo Edition is a first-generation Wi-Fi gateway that gives compatible Inkbird Bluetooth and wireless sensors remote internet access. Instead of standing near each sensor to check it by Bluetooth, the IBS-M1 receives nearby sensor readings and sends them through your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to the Inkbird app.

Use it to remotely monitor temperature, humidity or pool-water temperature from compatible Inkbird sensors in grow rooms, greenhouses, propagation areas, storage rooms, aquariums, pools and other monitored spaces.

Important: Grey Logo Edition

This is the original first-generation IBS-M1, identified by the grey INKBIRD logo. It is not the later blue-logo version.

Walls, equipment, water, metal surfaces and radio interference can substantially reduce wireless range. The gateway should be placed within reliable range of both the sensors and the Wi-Fi router.

Important Notice: Home Assistant and Tuya users

The grey-logo IBS-M1 has attracted significant interest from Tuya and Home Assistant users. Community-developed integrations may be possible, but setup can be technical and sensor data support varies. Native Home Assistant operation is not guaranteed, and this unit should be purchased primarily for use through the Inkbird system.
