Unlike ordinary plastic bags or traditional Mylar packaging, Grove Bags use patented TerpLoc® technology to regulate moisture exchange and oxygen transmission. The result is a more consistent curing and storage environment, without needing to manually burp jars or routinely add humidity packs.

How to Use Grove Bags

1. Dry your harvest first. Grove Bags are designed for properly dried flower, not freshly harvested or excessively wet cannabis. Grove Bags recommends drying for approximately 10–14 days at 16°C and 60% RH. Before bagging, aim for 10–12% moisture content or 0.55–0.58 water activity.
2. Fill to approximately 75% capacity. Leave about 25% empty space to provide the headspace required for TerpLoc® technology.
3. Close the bag securely. Use the zipper closure where provided. Heat sealing is recommended for maximum protection during long-term storage on compatible bags. Recommended heat-sealing temperatures are approximately 110–140°C.
4. Store in a cool, dark location. Grove Bags recommends approximately 16°C and 60% RH for optimal storage conditions.
5. Let TerpLoc® do the work. Properly dried flower can continue curing without the routine burping required by traditional mason jars.

Curing vs. Storage

Grove Bags can be used both to finish curing properly dried cannabis and to store finished flower. Their specialized film helps maintain a stable internal environment, making them a space-saving alternative to glass jars, especially when handling larger harvests.

Important: Grove Bags do not replace proper initial drying. Excessively moist flower can still develop mould, and improperly dried harvests may require additional ventilation or drying before being sealed for storage.
