Live Plants - Philodendron Pink Princess
Philodendron Pink Princess Care Guide
The Philodendron Pink Princess has become one of the most sought-after houseplants lately, and philodendrons in general have been a huge hit with collectors and everyday plant lovers alike. With rich burgundy-green foliage, pink stems, and unpredictable pink variegation, every Pink Princess is unique.
IncrediGrow also carries other philodendron cultivars!
Light
Provide bright, indirect light for the best growth and variegation. Stronger light can bring out richer burgundy tones and better contrast, but avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Watering
Allow the top 1–2 inches of growing media to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly, then let excess water drain away. Do not leave the plant sitting in water.
Humidity
Pink Princess Philodendrons appreciate moderate to high humidity, ideally around 50–70%, but they can adapt well to average household conditions with proper watering and airflow.
Soil & Potting Mix
Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix that allows airflow around the roots while still holding some moisture. For best results, we recommend GrowPharm Philodendron Chunky Mix, which is designed for philodendrons and other tropical aroids.
Fertilizer
Feed regularly during active growth with a balanced houseplant fertilizer. Reduce feeding during slower winter growth.
Growth Habit
Pink Princess is a climbing philodendron. Providing a moss pole, stake, or other support can encourage larger leaves and a stronger, more mature growth habit.
