Adjustable Data Logging

Choose how frequently the IBS-TH1 records a measurement:

• 10 seconds

• 30 seconds

• 1 minute

• 2 minutes

• 5 minutes

• 10 minutes

• 30 minutes

The default interval is one minute.

At the one-minute interval, the sensor can retain approximately 20 days of data. Maximum storage capacity is approximately 30,000 readings. Storage duration changes when a different recording interval is selected.

Reconnect within Bluetooth range to synchronize and review the stored history.

Bluetooth Monitoring Through Your Phone

The IBS-TH1 connects to compatible iOS and Android phones through the INKBIRD or Engbird app, depending on the sensor and app version.

Through the app you can:

• View current temperature and humidity

• Review historical measurements

• Select a recording interval

• Set temperature and humidity limits

• Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit

• Monitor multiple IBS-TH1 sensors from one phone

• Allow more than one phone to access a sensor

The current manufacturer manual specifies a maximum Bluetooth range of approximately 30 m/98 ft in open, unobstructed conditions.

Walls, floors, grow tents, metal equipment, appliances and wireless interference may reduce the usable range.

Alerts: Read This Before Buying

When used by itself, the IBS-TH1 is a local Bluetooth monitor and data logger.

For a direct Bluetooth alert to appear, the phone must be:

• Within Bluetooth range

• Connected to the sensor

• Running the compatible app in the foreground

The IBS-TH1 alone does not provide dependable off-site monitoring or background push notifications.

For internet-based monitoring and alerts while away from the property, use a compatible INKBIRD WiFi gateway, sold separately.

The IBS-TH1 is listed as compatible with the original first-generation IBS-M1 gateway. Compatibility should always be confirmed against the complete gateway and sensor model before purchase.

External Temperature Probe

The included wired probe measures temperature in liquids or places where the sensor body cannot be conveniently positioned.

When the external probe is connected, the external probe supplies the temperature reading while the sensor body measures humidity.

Accuracy may be affected by poor airflow, condensation, dust, blocked sensor openings or unsuitable placement.
