Future Harvest - Holland Secret - Hard Water Micro 5-0-2
Future Harvest Holland Secret Hard Water Micro 5-0-2
Holland Secret Hard Water Micro is the micronutrient component of Future Harvest’s three-part fertilizer system, adjusted for source water with a high existing mineral content. Future Harvest recommends it for water measuring approximately 200 ppm (0.4 EC) or higher.
Hard water already supplies calcium and other dissolved minerals. Using a standard Micro formula can add more calcium than the nutrient program requires, increasing the possibility of mineral imbalance or precipitation with phosphorus. Hard Water Micro provides the nitrogen, potassium, calcium, iron, boron and molybdenum required by the three-part program while accounting for minerals already present in the water.
Use Hard Water Micro instead of regular Holland Secret Micro—not in addition to it. It is not a complete fertilizer on its own and should be mixed with Holland Secret Grow and Holland Secret Bloom according to the appropriate Future Harvest feeding schedule. All three components are used throughout the crop cycle, with their proportions changing as plants move from vegetative growth into flowering and fruiting.
Suitable For
- Hard tap water measuring approximately 200 ppm or higher
- Hydroponic systems
- Coco coir
- Soil and soilless growing media
- Use from early growth through flowering and fruiting

Mixing Directions
Shake well before use. Add each Holland Secret component to the water separately and mix thoroughly between additions. Never combine concentrated fertilizers together before dilution. Follow the Future Harvest feed schedule and adjust the final nutrient strength for the crop, growing medium and starting water EC.
Calgary note: Much of Calgary’s tap water falls within the range where Hard Water Micro may be appropriate, but hardness and EC vary by location and season. Check the source water with an EC or ppm meter before choosing between regular Micro and Hard Water Micro.
