Advanced Nutrients pH Down – 0-55-0 Concentrated pH Adjuster

Advanced Nutrients pH Down is a highly concentrated phosphoric acid-based pH adjuster formulated for hydroponic nutrient solutions and liquid feeding programs.

When the pH of your nutrient solution is too high, pH Down allows you to gradually lower it into the appropriate range for your plants. Maintaining the proper pH helps keep dissolved nutrients available for uptake and is an important part of managing hydroponic and soilless growing systems.

Because this is a concentrated formula, a small amount can make a significant change in pH. Always add gradually, mix thoroughly, and retest before adding more.

Why Adjust Nutrient Solution pH?

Plants absorb different nutrients most efficiently within particular pH ranges. When the root-zone or nutrient-solution pH moves too far outside the desired range, nutrient availability can be reduced even when the nutrients themselves are present.

Regular pH testing and adjustment helps provide a more consistent growing environment throughout the crop cycle.

How to Use

1. Prepare and thoroughly mix your nutrient solution.

2. Measure the current pH.

3. If the pH is too high, add a small amount of Advanced Nutrients pH Down.

4. Mix thoroughly.

5. Test the pH again.

6. Repeat gradually until the desired pH is reached.

The amount required will vary depending on your water source, alkalinity, nutrient concentration, reservoir volume, and desired final pH.

Never mix concentrated pH Down directly with pH Up.
