Hydroponic Net Pot / Basket

Hydroponic net pots, also called net cups, are reusable plastic baskets made for growing plants in hydroponic, aquaponic and aeroponic systems. They hold the plant and growing medium in place while allowing water, liquid nutrients and oxygen to move freely through the root zone.

The holes and slits allow roots to grow through the sides and bottom of the net pot. This gives the roots easy access to water and nutrients while also providing good drainage and airflow. Net pots can be used with many hydroponic growing media, including clay pebbles, rockwool, coco coir, perlite and grow sponges.

Net pots are easy to use and work well for both beginners and experienced indoor gardeners. They can be used in deep water culture (DWC), nutrient film technique (NFT), drip irrigation, flood-and-drain, kratky, aquaponic and aeroponic growing systems.

Hydroponic net cups are suitable for growing many types of plants, including:

Simply place your plant or starter plug inside the net pot, add your preferred growing medium and position the basket in your hydroponic system. When used properly, the open design helps plants develop a healthy, strong root system.
