Product Description

An anti-draft duct insert designed for use with range hoods, bathroom fans, tumble dryers, inline duct fans, grow tents, and other home HVAC applications.

Made to fit standard duct openings, this backdraft damper helps prevent cold drafts, debris, and reverse airflow from entering ventilation systems. The galvanized steel body includes outer rubber gasket rings that help create a secure, airtight grip inside the duct. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and the spring-loaded aluminum butterfly blades open with minimal airflow.

Applications

Suitable for range hoods, bathroom exhaust fans, tumble dryers, ventilation ducting, inline duct fans, and grow tent exhaust systems. Can be fully or partially inserted into ductwork using the rubber rings to hold it in place.

• Preventing cold Calgary winter backdrafts
• Reducing smell leakage when fans shut off
• Stopping insects/dust from entering passive duct runs
• Preventing wind-induced reverse spinning on inline fans
