They belong to the \u003cstrong\u003ePolypodiaceae\u003c\/strong\u003e family and are native to Asia and Australia.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese ferns have been removed from their shipping soil and replanted in sphagnum and orchid bark. Direct sun may scorch their fronds. They are often mounted on wooden boards or bark slabs with organic material such as peat or moss.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWater\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe root base should be allowed to dry slightly between waterings. From experience, they absorb moisture through both fronds and roots. Bathroom or kitchen humidity alone is usually not sufficient. Toss it in the shower once in a while.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTemperature and Humidity\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eStaghorn ferns prefer warm, humid conditions. They will survive between \u003cstrong\u003e10–38 °C\u003c\/strong\u003e and should be kept under a grow light and in naturally humid areas like bathrooms or kitchens. Keep them away from window ledges in winter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFertilizer\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eApply a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer once a month during the growing season to encourage strong, healthy growth.
